Discoe Beverages is a family company founded & operated by Justin & Lori Discoe, with a goal to bring innovative, thoughtful beverage brands to market in the non-alcoholic beverage space.
It’s all about seizing the moment. What began from an inspired trip back home to the west coast and grew out of our kitchen on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, our little company was born.
With a 10-gallon still we purchased in Colorado, we set out distilling botanicals, consulting with herbalists, friends and a lot of trial and error. As the botanicals got more expensive, we hand built a 1-gallon still to fit on our kitchen stovetop and honed in on our final botanicals. With our flavor profile set after dozens of canning jars, we consulted with some of the best industry experts to commercialize our kitchen concoction.
Why would I want a non-alcoholic cocktail?
Imagine having a delicious, complex adult drink while relaxing with friends and maintaining your wellness regime, as well as having a great day tomorrow, too! While there are many reasons people drink less or no alcohol, there are still many occasions to share and be part of the scene. You can have it all!
How should I serve my Fizz?
Chill. Drink. Relax. Circle Back Fizzes are delicious straight out of a chilled can or poured over crushed or large ice in a Tom Collins, gimlet, or your favorite style glass! Top your bev with a lemon peel or spring of rosemary to garnish and impress your friends with your outstanding bartending skills.
Take it hiking, in your lunch bag, to a friend’s BBQ, or serve it for a cocktail party or dinner party. Sometimes just sipping it on the couch is perfect. Anyway you enjoy a Fizz is a great way to unwind!

Our drinks are made in the style of a gin, based on complex botanical flavors that are the hallmark of a good gin. In addition to the familiar mouthfeel and warming feeling of a quality cocktail, Circle Back has the functional ingredient L-theanine to promote relaxation.
Why do I feel relaxed?
Circle Back contains L-theanine, an adaptogen/nootropic that safely induces relaxation, without drowsiness. It reduces stress by increasing production of alpha brain waves which are responsible for a relaxed state of mind. In other words, you don’t have to drink alcohol to unwind! Decompress without the depress!
What is L-theanine?
L-Theanine is an amino acid primarily derived from green tea that safely induces relaxation (without drowsiness) and reduces stress. It works by increasing production of alpha waves in the brain responsible for a relaxed state of mind and mental alertness. It actually improves mental function, quite the opposite of alcohol. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recognizes L-theanine to be Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS), the safest rating available.

Why does a non-alcoholic drink cost so much?
We use only premium ingredients and a proprietary process to create this satisfying drink. Alcohol costs a lot because of taxes, not quality ingredients.
Does it taste like gin?
It is a gin-style drink, with complex botanical flavors similar to a botanical gin, a mild burn and a similar mouthfeel, but yeah, it isn’t a gin. It might just be better!
How do you get that burn?
The botanical world is wide and diverse and we have sought out a blend of flavors to help create the lingering spicy notes.
How should I store my GinFizz?
You can put it in a cabinet, but we suggest keeping it chilled in the fridge to make a delicious, chilled cocktail just a popped top away!
What is monk fruit?
A member of the melon family, monk fruit grows on lush vines and naturally has many times higher levels of sweetness than sugar, but zero calories.
Could this drink actually be healthy?
Yes, but shhhh... we don’t want to ruin the fun!
Is it safe for children?
While it is a non-alcoholic drink, we do not intend for it to be a beverage for children.
Is it safe to have L-theanine and alcohol at the same time?
